Production & Sandbox Environments

The Blackbell Platform provides two distinct environments, Production and Sandbox, to enable freelancers and web agencies to develop, test, and deploy their clients' accounts. 

Production Environment: The Production Environment is the live setting in which partners can issue real-time requests to the Blackbell Platform. It is designed for use in the final stages of development when a client's account is ready for deployment. 
Sandbox Environment: The Sandbox Environment serves as a testing ground for partners to develop and evaluate client accounts. In this environment, developers can create demo accounts without impacting the production environment. It is an ideal space for testing booking flows and simulating successful or failed payments, as the Sandbox Environment mirrors the Production Environment. It is not possible to migrate an account from sandbox to prod.

How to test payments in Sandbox ?

To ensure Blackbell works effectively for your client, you can simulate transactions without actually transferring any money by using special values in test mode.
When saving a test card, enter a name like John Doe.
If a Zip code is required, enter 22222.
